is a Children’s Guide to Success!
“Give a man a fish, he’ll eat for a day. Teach him to fish, he’ll eat for life.” — Lao Tzu, 4th Century BC
Based on the wisdom of that age old saying, Don’t Give The Mouse a Cookie is the first in a series of musical books aimed at children of all ages. Our books will reinforce the ideals and family values that we know build character and give positive direction to children.
The series will instill a desire in children to lift up the soul and understand positive values by combining beautiful songs and original Illustrations together with the written word.
Values learned today will stay with our children for life and and teach them the essential values they need to grow and become successful members of society.
- Self Discipline
- Hard Work & Determination
- Free market enterprise
- Leadership & Entrepreneurial Skills
- A positive self image & high self esteem
Preschoolers learn an amazing amount in their first few years of life. When they learn economic principles at an early age it becomes part of who they are and it is this entrepreneurial spirit that will allow them to achieve their own success.
The song tells the whole story in a fun and gentle way!
If we introduce young children to entrepreneurial concepts in an entertaining way, they will learn to become successful members of society.
First in the series of children’s books designed to teach preschool children 3-5 the foundations of life-long success is Don’t Give The Mouse A Cookie.
Don’t Give The Mouse A Cookie teaches children that when Marcelo, the lead ‘Mouse and Hero’ learns to bake his own cookies, he suddenly is able to feed himself, his family and all of his friends! He also realizes he can turn his culinary talents into a thriving enterprise of his own, becoming a successful business owner and productive member of society… “even making friends with the cats …and what could be better than that?”
Our stories encourage creativity, innovation and problem solving. They instill independence and nurture personal responsibility. Confident children know how to persevere and succeed.
A Children’s Guide to Success is an educational brand with global potential.
Along with the book and song, we are creating a companion App that combines the virtual world of fun game play with real world results.
Studies have shown that children learn, comprehend and retain more efficiently when they are taught through the combined use of music, art and the written word.
Our goal is that while children are being entertained they will also be educated, inspired, and moved by our stories of success and joy.
